In the last days, it came out, that we are able to offer you a 2days-project management training in Belgrad, on 7th and 8th of July. It is an OFFER ADDITIONALLY to the Online-training, it is a great chance for you to meet in the teams and with the others. However, the conditions won´t be the same as for the seminar in Sremski Karlovci: We can only refund you 70% of your travel expenses, and we cannot organize accomodation. You will get some money for food during the two days though.

We suggest, that you use the possibilty of the meeting to stay one or two days longer to meet your team and work on the project.
the seminar starts on june 7th at 10.00 and ends on june 8th at 18.30.

Content of the workshop:
day 1: conflictmanagement: about possible conflicts in teams and workshops and how to cope with them in a proper way.
day 2: before midday: your topic. you can suggest something. possible topics are e.g. team-work, fundraising, public relations.
after midday: work on the projects

accomodation:
Please stay at your friends in Beograd, use Couchsurfing (Ida knows something about it :) ) Radan, Please help the others to find good places to stay for these days.

trainer:
Matthias Haberl, 28 years old, working for a development agency in Austria, living in Vienna, studying Balkan Studies in Vienna. He is also part of BLGU team.

participants:
All of you are invited. Though, some of you have good chances to meet with their mentors for smaller, maybe not 2-days long workshops. Milan has his mentor Amir at home, so he will train him in project management in Tuzla.

Deadline for application: Please tell us till SUNDAY, 27th of June, if you are able and want to take part. If not, it is not a problem – the teams “Bethany” & “CLick it and fix it” can talk to their mentors about meeting them and learniing basic project management. However, for “Wake up – make a difference” and “Breakin`the wall” it is your only chance to meet your mentors before your projects start.

Please tell tell us, if you will take part, what topic would mostly interest you (and your team) to learn in Belgrade. So Matthias can adapt the concept to your needs.

Please write back to Matthias (check for his address in Anne’s mail) concerning the Workshop in Belgrade.

Have a great week and cheers :)

Anne for the BLGU team

So, are you going?

Where are you staying?

For how long are you gonna stay in Belgrade?

What are your ideas for the “your topic” morning/day?

It would be great if Matthias joined in here, and let us know more about this whole thing :-) Like what are his plans, where is this gonna be held, etc.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Mila

Pictures from the Jugend Demokratie Preis ceremony!

Hi everybody,

I don’t know about you, but our team just heard from our new project mentor (yaaay!). Except for all the organizational stuff in her e-mail, she also shared a link to some pictures from the award ceremony for the JDP that our trainers won! Since I wasn’t sure how many of you have heard from their new mentors (actually I’m pretty sure 2 days ago one of the teams hadn’t heard from anyone from the BLGU team, and that’s rather frustrating), and also if you’ve seen these pictures, so I thought I’d post the link here for everyone to see:

Check out those sexy people!

Looking great, guys!

I’d love it if every team shared a little something about their work- how’s it going, have you completed anything significant so far, have you heard from your mentor, etc.

That’s it from me! :) Greetings from Sofia,

Mila
